The Lucid Group (NASDAQ: LCID), which pioneered the launch of the longest-range and fastest-charging electric vehicle in the North American market, today announced initial plans for a European market launch. This also includes the soon-to-be availability of both Lucid Air Dream Editions with the latest electric motor available today. The Dream Edition R is engineered for efficiency with an estimated range of 900 km* while the Dream Edition P delivers 1,111 hp (828 kW).
The company also plans to open its first European retail store – Lucid Studio on Odeonsplatz in Munich, Germany – on May 13, 2022. The luxury showroom will invite customers to experience the brand and its products in the heart of the famous Old Town. The company expects to open additional studios and service centers in Germany, the Netherlands, Norway and Switzerland in 2022 and aims to expand into other key markets on the European continent in the coming years.

The first deliveries are expected to begin in late 2022. Prices and delivery dates for the Lucid Air Pure, Air Touring and Air Grand Touring as well as option prices for EU markets will be announced later in the year. Lucid Air Pure prices are expected to start at around 100,000 euros in Germany and the Netherlands, 100,000 Swiss francs in Switzerland and 1,000,000 NOK in Norway.
Lucid currently accepts bookings from European customers in Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Iceland, Italy, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland. With a fully refundable reservation starting at €300, customers will secure their place in the waiting list for Lucid Air Pure, Touring and Grand Touring models as soon as deliveries begin in their countries. These specific markets were selected based on a combination of freight infrastructure, market acceptance, and size. Further expansion into Europe is planned in the future, including additional studios and service centers in major European cities and a UK right-hand drive model.
