Teutonia 05, VfB Lübeck, TSG Neustrelitz and TuS BW Lohne won Saturday on the amateur final day of the State Cup finals and can now hope for a big draw in the DFB Cup.

The players of FC Teutonia 05 were the first team from the North to qualify for the first main round of the DFB Cup in the Hamburg final. At Hoheluft Stadium, where the Ottensers also play regional league matches at home, they beat arch-rivals Altona 93 2-1 (2-0) (game stats) and celebrated their first title in the club’s history.

In front of 3,014 fans, Teutonia quickly took the lead. AFC goalkeeper Fredrik Lorenzen clumsily knocked down Besfort Colgese and Fabian Estevo’s undisputed penalty made the score 1-0 (2). A little later, Can Düzel increased his lead to 2-0 with a header (15). Altona, who were relegated to the Premier League, struggled for a long time, but went on to score the next goal in the 62nd minute: Noah Gambert scored from the edge of the penalty area with a shot that veered slightly. But that was not enough for more, the Teutonia finally brought the main ruler over time.

Won VFP Lubeck in an exciting match against TSB Flensburg

In the final of the Schleswig-Holstein State Cup, the favorite from the Northern District League was victorious in front of 1,727 spectators in Flensburg, but he faced more problems than expected with the Oberliga team. It seems that Robin Cole (15) and Samuel Abifad (37) made everything clear in their goals before the end of the first half. But TSB fought back through Nicholas Holtz (80th) and Timo Carstensen (87th) – he went into overtime, as Carstensen missed a huge opportunity to make Flensburg 3-2 in the last second. (game stats)

Flensburg player Typhoon Kahn and Gian-Luca Bracht failed on penalties – VFB goalkeeper Eric Grünemann became the famous champion of the Lübeck team, winning 8: 7 and, with his 16th cup victory, tied with only record holder Holstein Kiel. In addition, opponents and Cup surprises like the one you dreamed of in 2004, when only VfB lost in the semi-finals of the DFB Cup to doubles champion Werder Bremen.

TSG Neustrelitz won the MV . Cup

At Neustrelitz, the home team TSG and Greifswalder FC had an open but quiet duel in the original time. Both teams in the Premier League rested nothing, and 1,831 spectators witnessed a lot of fighting and few chances to score. Here, too, the matter went into overtime. There, Peterson Appiah gave the guests the lead (100), Justus Goth equalized just before the final whistle (119).

This was also the case at Neustrelitz on penalties, which the hosts finally won 6:5. TSG goalkeeper Nicholas Delpino made a save against Lukas Knechtel, then Turbine Gabel took the famous win. (Game stats). Neustrelitz is represented in the DFB Cup for the first time since 2013. At that time, there was a respectable 0:2 after extra time against Bundesliga club SC Freiburg.

BW won the DFB Cup for the first time

The State Cup final in Lower Saxony was also decided only by penalties. After the regulation time, the score was 0-0 between Heeslinger SC and TuS BW Lohne. There was no extension. In the “penalty shootout”, which Lone won 6: 5, goalkeeper Christophe Pullman became the champion of the cup with three shots (match stats). The Oberliga champions and regional promoters are participating in the DFB Cup for the first time.

Regional League team BSV Rehden surprisingly took second place from Lower Saxony last Wednesday with a 1-0 final victory over third-division side SV Meppen.
